A Financial Analyst works within a bank, an investment company or a consultancy business, carrying out financial analyses and studies for company directors or market operators to provide them with all the information they need to make the right investment decisions (financial markets or mergers and acquisitions).
Tasks
They study companies to assess their value and analyse the financial risks attached to them.
They analyse developments and forecasts in the financial and commodity markets.
They manage a portfolio of financial investments.
They liaise with the heads of financial communications and the financial directors of companies, and make recommendations for the acquisition or disposal of financial assets.
They draft business reports on major companies or sectors of activity.
