A Head of Corporate Social Responsibility is the guarantor of the company’s sustainable development policy, in terms of its environmental and societal aspects. In this capacity, they draw up and manage the CSR strategy by working with all the company’s departments. They support them in taking into account the social, societal and environmental dimensions of their activity, and integrating them into their daily work.
They develop the company’s social and societal responsibility policy under the guidance of general management.
They implement the CSR strategy through communications and awareness-raising initiatives at all levels of the organisation.
They establish an improvement process based on the ISO 26000 standard, in order to develop a responsible management system, or on the ISO 14001 standard, in order to set up a responsible environmental policy.
They pilot innovative CSR projects, in collaboration with other company departments, measure the effects and enhance company image.
They have to convince company management, and all stakeholders, of the benefits of the CSR approach.
