Entertainment Manager

Working within a tourist accommodation establishment, an Entertainment Manager is responsible for devising a programme of cultural, technical or leisure activities to create a friendly and relaxing atmosphere adapted to the needs of the public and the specific nature of the establishment. 

They may lead certain activities and/or manage the entertainment team, coordinating their activities.

Tasks

  • They recruit the team of entertainers/entertainment coordinators.

  • They are responsible for liaising with service providers as well as with the public and regulatory bodies.

  • They plan the programme of activities and are responsible for relevance of these activities as well as for the safety of their clients.

  • They are responsible for the technical aspects of a project or event; they may manage it themselves or entrust it to the team of entertainment coordinators.

  • They ensure compliance with current rules and regulations in terms of facilities and public safety.
