Business Development Manager

Business/New Markets Manager

The Business Development Manager is at the heart of a company’s development strategy, and their main task is to find growth levers within the company. To achieve this, they deploy the strategy - developed with management and the various department heads - to identify new markets, seek out new customers and identify new partners.


  • They carry out market research to understand the environment in which their company operates and identify development opportunities.

  • Working with the marketing and sales teams, they coordinate ideas and projects to create new opportunities within the company.

  • They study the business plans that will enable the company to flourish and ensure its sustainability.

  • They negotiate with new clients to ensure that contracts are in line with the development plan.

  • They follow the development of new markets or product ranges for the first few years to ensure that value is created and that it is fully absorbed into the company.
