Chief Information Officer (CIO)

IT Manager, IT Director, Information Systems Manager

A CIO defines and implements a company’s IT policy, in collaboration with the general management team. They are constantly vigilant regarding IT security and data protection policies. They are responsible for monitoring developments in terms of careers and tools, and for ensuring the continuity of the IT service provided to users, as well as the quality of this service.

Tasks

  • They draw up and enforce an IT policy to ensure that users receive the best possible IT service and that they are well protected.

  • They anticipate changes in information systems and make decisions based on technological advances and user needs.

  • They supervise the company’s major digital projects and ensure the overall consistency of the information systems.

  • They manage their department’s budget and determine the allocation of equipment.

  • They devise an optimal organisation of the company’s information flows.

€45,000 - €110,000 (average €70,000)
