Consultant

Consultant in Management, Organisation and Strategy

A Consultant, whether generalist or specialist, works within a company, or is self-employed, and provides expertise to companies on a particular subject. They work in a wide variety of fields (communications, change management, sales, strategy, finance, organisation, etc.). Their mission generally includes an audit or data analysis phase before making recommendations and advising clients on their implementation. 

They generally operate in project management mode, collaborating closely with others.

Tasks

  • Before accepting an assignment and drafting a work proposal, they carry out a preliminary assessment that will define the planned actions and associated costs.

  • They specify the human and financial resources required for the mission.

  • They organise individual and group interviews, workshops and training courses.

  • They monitor the implementation of recommendations, analyse feedback, and recommend any necessary adjustments.

  • They establish working methods: a steering committee, working groups, and monitoring indicators.
