Events Project Manager

Project Leader, Events Project Director

An Events Project Manager, whether working for a company or an agency, designs events (trade fairs, conferences, soirées, product launches, sports events, etc.) which require a great deal of organisational skill and availability (involving working at the weekend). They act as a link between the client and the teams who will be producing the event to ensure perfect results. They coordinate appointments, telephone calls and meetings, travel with their clients, and liaise with service providers, until the project is completed.

Tasks

  • They identify client expectations and draw up the technical specifications for the event.

  • They manage all the logistics of the project on the ground (managing spaces, movement of equipment, transport of guests, etc.).

  • They write the communications support material (invitations, programme, press releases, etc.).

  • They draw up the budget for the project, which they negotiate with the client, and follow rigorously.

  • They prepare the action plan and coordinate the whole operation.

Junior: €22,000 - €25,000
