Sales Director

Commercial Manager, Sales Manager

A Sales Director is responsible for the sales activities of a company and for building up customer loyalty. They define the sales strategy and lead the sales team in order to increase company turnover. 

This is a board-level position.

Tasks

  • They supervise, manage and give advice to their sales team.

  • They look to secure strategic accounts and develop loyalty.

  • They identify commercial targets for their products or services and define growth objectives for their turnover.

  • They ensure a link with other departments within the company, particularly the production department.

  • They set individual targets and monitor the sales achieved by their team.
