Travel Agency Manager

Travel Agency Executive

A Travel Agency Manager has three key responsibilities: to manage the agency, to manage the team of employees and to develop the agency’s business. They are therefore the driving force behind the agency. They may report to a senior manager in a travel agency network or they may operate their agency independently.

Tasks

  • They manage their team of advisors and motivate them to ensure high-quality customer relations and an increase in turnover.

  • They keep abreast of the latest tourism offers by attending trade fairs and training courses, and by participating in tour operator events/visits.

  • They deal with their suppliers and negotiate rates to achieve their margin.

  • They develop the sales activity of their agency.

  • They are responsible for the administrative and financial management of the business, as well as for budget monitoring and HR management.
